Named after its origin of Castile, Spain, Castile Soap is known for its gentle yet effective cleansing. Castile Soap can be used for anything from dishes to face wash. Scratch uses the traditional Castile recipe of at least 85% Olive Oil with added Castor and/or Coconut Oil .  Modern day commercial soap has made us accustomed to a thick gel like soap, however Scratch adds no thickeners therefore leaving the soap in virgin form. Our handmade Castile Soap will be much thinner in consistency and slight separation may occur.
